Special Events and Fellowship at St. John's Lutheran Church
St. John's Lutheran Church holds bi-monthly fellowship meals and Bible study on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights of each month.
Dinner served from 6:00-6:20 PM - Program from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Meals are held weekly during Advent and Lent.
Periodically, especially during church seasons, St. John's Lutheran has special events and/or hosts or works with other church congregations or community organizations to bring special events or activities to the area.

Sunday Youth Nights - St. John’s Youth will NOW get together EVERY week - 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
All youth in grades 6-12 are invited for youth night, which include supper, devotions, games, and fun! Sunday Youth Nights are held each week, except those weeks when we replace the regular time with something special! Hey Youth, invite friends to Sunday Youth Nights!

Adopt a College Student
Thank you so much to all who helped prepare college student care packages last month. They were much appreciated!
We would like to follow this up by inviting you to adopt a St. John's college student to send cards to from time to time.
Sign up in the narthex on the side table. Blank careds are available there if you prefer not to purchase them.
Candy Needed for Beaufort Christmas Parade, Sunday, December 8
We are collecting bags of small, individually wrapped candy to be passed out at the parade.
Now is a good time to get candy for special prices but PLEASE, DO NOT purchase any candy with
Halloween themed pictures or colors-we will not pass it out at the parade. There will a bin in the narthex
for candy starting next week.

Lowcountry Chorale - “Music Soothes the Soul”

The Chorale presents a program entitled “Music Soothes the Soul.” Admission is free; but donations will be gratefully received.

Congregational Meeting - Sunday, November 17, 2019 - 11:45 am - Meeting and Meal
A congregational meeting will be held Sunday, November 17, 11:45 am. The purpose of this meeting is to adopt the 2020 Plan for Mission, elect Congregation Council, and Endowment Committee members for 2020-2021 terms. All members are urged to attend this important meeting. No other business will be brought to the floor.
Everyone is invited to stay for a potluck lunch following the meeting. Turkey will be provided by our official fryer, Jim Palmer.Please bring a dish or two to share, if you are able!
Christmas Eve Candlelight with Holy Communion - Monday, December 24, 2018 - 7 pm. PLEASE NOTE: ONLY ONE SERVICE
We gather for worship on this holy night to celebrate the birth of Jesus, who is Emmanuel, God with us. Candlelight, special music, and holy communion.
