Special Events and Fellowship at St. John's Lutheran Church
St. John's Lutheran Church holds bi-monthly fellowship meals and Bible study on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights of each month.
Dinner is served from 6:00-6:20 PM - Program from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Meals are held weekly during Advent and Lent.
Periodically, especially during church seasons, St. John's Lutheran has special events and/or hosts or works with other church congregations or community organizations to bring special events or activities to the area.

Sunday Youth Nights - St. John’s Youth get together EVERY week - 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
All youth in grades 6-12 are invited for youth night, which include supper, devotions, games, and fun!
Sunday Youth Nights are held each week, except those weeks when we replace the regular time with something special!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper - Tuesday, February 25, 2020 - 5:30-6:30 pm.
The Lutheran Men in Mission will serve up pancakes and sausages - all proceeds to help with camp scholarships for our youth and children!
Come for an evening of fun and fellowship.
Ash Wednesday Services - February 26, 2020 - Noon and 7:00 pm.
We mark the beginning of Lent with the mark of the cross, traced upon our foreheads.
Two identical services of Holy Communion with the Imposition of Ashes will be offered.

Summer Camp at Lutheridge - Register by March 1, 2020 - Actual Camp Dates July 12-18, 2020.
It’s time to start planning for camp at Lutheridge. Campers are welcome to go any week of summer - but a group will go in July.

Send a Kid to Camp Sunday, March 8, 2020, both services.
Help shape the faith of children and youth! On Sunday, March 8, 2020, at both
services, St. John’s is pleased to be hosting Corinne Mullen, from the Lutheridge staff.
Corinne will be sharing the inspirational stories of Lutheridge and its power to change lives!
St. John’s will be sending about a dozen or more youth and children to
camp this summer - and some of St. John’s young adults will be on staff!
You will be asked on Send a Kid to Camp Sunday to make a special aboveand-beyond donation to help send a kid to camp.
We hope all members will seriously consider this opportunity. You never know when, how, and where the seeds planted at camp
in a child’s life will grow and bloom!
Harold’s Country Club Outing - Saturday, March 14, 2020 - Please arrive at Harold’s by 6:15 pm.
Mark your calendar for a trip Harold’s Country Club in Yemassee for a steak dinner with all of the trimmings.
The cost is $22. Checks should be made payable to Harold’s Country Club.
All checks or cash should be given to Pat Harvey-Palmer or dropped by the office no later than Sunday, March 8.
There will be a signup sheet in the Fellowship Books.
Please note on the signup slip how you would like your steaks cooked.
Congregation Annual Meeting - Sunday, March 15, 2020 - 11:45 am
The congregation will meet on Sunday March 15, 2020 after the 10:30 am service to receive the annual report and any other necessary congregation business.
The annual meeting is the designated meeting in which items of business may come from the floor.
If you plan to bring an item of business from the floor, we ask that you please notify President Gary Wright in advance.
Everyone is invited to stay for a potluck lunch following the meeting. Bring a dish or two to share if you are able!
