Difficult (but Faithful) Discussions
Covenant Making session: Sunday, January 13, 2018 + 2-3:30 pm
Racism 1: Sunday, January 27, 2018 + 2-3:30 pm
Racism 2: Sunday, February 3, 2018 + 2-3:30 pm

If members of a congregation are able to have deep conversations about difficult topics, people can become more confident in their understandings and in their beliefs. The purpose of this group will be to talk without fear of being judged or attacked about topics such as racism, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration...

Not be a class… Not be a time of arguing or trying to switch people to “my side...” Rather, a time to share, to learn, and grow. The first gathering be a covenant making session. The following two sessions will be about the topic of racism.

All participants will be required to attend the Covenant making session or watch a video/read material about the covenant making session and agree to the Covenant.

Each session will begin and end with prayer, as well as affirmation that we are the beloved of God and that we love each other.

Do you want to be challenged? To stretch and grow? Then be a part of this group!
